New Image Challenge
Members should enter 4 DPI images which haven't previously been entered for club league competitions or a new image challenge. Images must be no more than 2 years old.
The images will be judged in random order and marked out of 20.
The entrant with the highest total score will be declared the winner.
The winner will be awarded the 'Peter Harvey Trophy' for the duration of the club year.
No image entered in this competition may be used in any subsequent New Image Challenge.
There are no restrictions regarding use of images submitted to the 4 New Image Challenge in other club competitions, so long as the images conform to the rules of that competition.
Entries must be with the Competition Secretary no later than the Friday prior to the competition. No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
- DPI file names should be in the form title&authorsurname,
- e.g. winter-sunrise&smith.
- DPIs should have a maximum resolution of 1400 pixels width and 1050 pixels height.
- DPIs should be JPEG files with the author’s choice of compression.
The preferred method of submission is by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you wish to submit in some other way, then please discuss this with the Competition Secretary in good time before the deadline.
The Competition Secretary will send, as soon as possible after the deadline, an email to all club members listing those from whom submissions have been received.
